About the Role:
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Electrical Building Services Engineers at various career stages (Engineer, Senior, or Principal) to join our client’s thriving building services team. The role offers opportunities to work on a wide array of exciting projects across sectors such as life sciences, defence, education, commercial, renewable energy, healthcare, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical building services designs from concept to completion across multiple sectors.
  • Develop detailed design calculations to support your work.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, plant schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Produce design drawings and conduct site surveys to assess existing installations.
  • Ensure compliance with construction health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee construction stages, liaise with clients, and collaborate with design and construction teams.

Skills and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Accredited qualifications in Building Services/Electrical Engineering (ONC/HNC or Degree).
    • Postgraduate experience in electrical services design.
    • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Relux, Dialux, Amtech, NBS, and MS Office.
    • Strong understanding of energy conservation, sustainability, and renewable technologies.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of technical standards and legislation.
    • Excellent communication, report-writing, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines collaboratively.
  • Desirable:
    • Security clearance to MOD SC level or eligibility to meet the criteria.
    • Self-motivation with the confidence to make informed decisions.
    • Commitment to career progression, with aspirations for Chartership.
